This is definitely my favorite senior photo session and that is because this girl is mine. I simply cannot believe she is a senior this year. I have homeschooled her from the beginning and it has been a long journey that somehow went by really fast. It never would have occurred to me when she was in kindergarten that I would someday take her senior photos. In fact, I don’t remember even giving that a single thought. Twelve years of school just seemed so far away and yet here we are talking about college and scholarships and internships. Let me tell you a little bit about Isabelle. There are two phrases that her dad and I have used to describe her: she spends half her life in the air, and she has art pouring from her veins. Meaning, she has a lot of energy and can jump continuously for far longer than anyone I have seen, and everything she touches art wise turns to gold. She loves to read fantasy (she didn’t get that from me), and loves to write, especially poems. I am amazed at how well, systematically, and quickly she can write poems of many different styles. She draws, paints, makes movies and edits them and has completely mastered her iPad. Although she encompasses far more than I can describe on my blog I would be remiss if I didn’t mention her complete adoration of horses. Her goal is to always have horses as a part of her career and lifestyle. She is wonderful with them and it is a beautiful thing to watch her connect and interact with them. I know this girl will go on to do great things. God has a plan for her life and I can’t wait to see how he will use her many gifts. I love her so much!
